Obituary of Ruby Deardorff
Born May 12, 1940. Ruby went to be home with the Lord March 4,2018 at UT Hospital at the age of 77.
During her life she come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
She lived life to the fullest. She was a thriving, independent person that was owner and operator of Ruby's Place for thirteen years, before becoming an independent care giver for the elderly for many years. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and great grandmother. In the summer her greatest passion was canning. She loved to spend time with her family and pets. She left behind a legacy to everyone who knew her to never settle, to love unconditionally, and to take life one step at a time.
She was proceeded in death by her: Mother Elizabeth (Bug) Cole, great Uncle Curt (Waz) Holloway, her loving Sister Billie Jean Dykes. Special friends- Jack Strunk and Ima Bridges.
She is survived by her:
Sons: Del Perry,
Brian Perry and wife Trish Perry.
Daughter- Donna Perry.
Grandchildren- Lucas Perry and wife Deonaka Perry, Jessi Perry, and Madison Perry.
Great Grandchildren- Cambree Perry.
Special friends- Carlene Lay, Jean Perry and Doris Cole.
She left behind her beloved pets- dogs Nellie Grace, Tootsie Doodle and Patches the cat.

Family will receive friends Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 5:00 till 7:00 PM with funeral services to follow in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Overholt and Lucas Perry Officiating. Music will be provided by David and Juanita Honeycutt and Diane Lay. Grave side services will be Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Perry Family Cemetery.
